Police: Man Busted With Pot on Halstead Ave.

The following arrest report was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

 New Rochelle man was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana on Halstead Avenue Monday after police say they found pot, a scale and a bong in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police say the 22-year-old driver was stopped at about 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of Halstead Avenue and Haviland Street because of an obstructed windshield.

After smelling marijuana, police say they searched the vehicle and found black digital marijuana scale near the driver's side door, a water bong used to smoke marijuana in the passenger side door and a clear mason jar containing marijuana in the trunk.

The driver was processed and cited for unlawful possession of marijuana, a citation, at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was not charged.
