Police: New Rochelle Man Caught With Knife

A New Rochelle man faces a weapons charge after police say he was driving on North Street with a butterfly knife in his center console.

Paul Walker, 20, crossed a double-yellow line to pass another vehicle and was pulled over at about 8 p.m. on Dec. 10, police say. During the traffic stop police spotted the knife in the vehicle's center console.

Walker, of 63 Cooper Dr., was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree—a misdemeanor—along with two traffic violations.
