Prescription Pills Found During Traffic Stop, Police Say

A Glendale, NY, man faces a misdemeanor charge after police say he was caught carrying two controlled pain pills without a prescription.

Police say Mario Susic, 37, was carrying two Nucynta pills in his pants pocket during a traffic stop on April 10 at the intersection of Harrison and Halstead Avenues. A small amount of marijuana was also found, according to police.

Susic was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana—a violation.

He was released on $250 cash bail and is due in court April 24.
