Question: Back to School Shopping Already?

Doesn't it seem like summer only started a few short weeks ago?

It seems like the back-to-school shopping season gets earlier and earlier every year. In early August the commercials for school shoppers are already in full-swing, a month before most public high schools will open for the year.

Today's question asks readers when they do their back to school shopping. Is it too early to buy your child's new pair of jeans with temperatures still in the 90s, or is it best to get a jump on the sales now?
