Reminder: Harrison Dog Park Fees Due
Harrison Town Clerk Jackie Greer issues a reminder that Tuesday's evening hours are a good chance for residents to renew their passes to the Harrison dog park.
The Harrison dog park might be covered in snow this week, but it's only a matter of time until the spring weather will make the gated area the place to be for local canines and their owners.
That's why Harrison Town Clerk Jackie Greer is reminding everyone that 2012 fees for the dog park are now due and Tuesday's might be a good time to take care of it.
The clerk's office will be open from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, with all services being provided. The extended hours coincide with a scheduled planning board meeting, so they will not drain any extra town resources, Greer said.

Admittance to the dog park is $20 for Harrison residents and $50 for non-residents. Dogs must be registered and up to date on all shots.
The park, located in on Crystal Street, has been . It includes two separate parks, one for larger and smaller dogs. There is also a fountain of water for the dogs to drink from in the summer.
