Sammons Re-Appointed as Library Board Trustee

The Harrison Town Board has re-appointed Diane Sammons for another five-year term on the Harrison Library Board of Trustees.

Sammons is currently the president of the board. This, her third term, will run until the end of 2016.

The Library Board of Trustees consists of seven volunteers who set policies and provide fiscal oversight to Harrison's  and Library branches.

The board of trustees interviews candidates and recommends a candidate to the town board for final approval. The town board approved Sammons by a 5-0 vote.

Robert Blake Jr, Pamela Stockton, June Ann Swartz, Joseph E.Toplyn, Mark Santangelo and Maureen B. Skrilow are the other trustees.
