The Miss Westchester Pageant, Heritage of India Fest and Dark Star at the Cap

1.) I Love You're Perfect, Now Change is the musical being presented at 8 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Westchester Sandbox Theatre 931C East Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck. Tickets are $28 or $24 for seniors and students.

2.) Larchmont's Down to Earth Farmers Market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 3, in the Metro North parking lot off Chatsworth Avenue. Some of the things vendors will be selling include seafood, eggs, vegetables, fruits, baked goods and meat and poultry.

3.) The Marine Education Center will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 3 in Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck. You can see see: live fish from Mamaroneck Harbor, live horseshoe crabs, spider crabs and more.

4.)  2014 Miss Westchester & Miss Hudson Valley Pageants

Young women ages 14-26 from Westchester County and the Hudson Valley Region will compete for the chance to become Miss Westchester, Miss Westchester Teen, Miss Hudson Valley and Miss Hudson Valley Teen this Saturday at 4 p.m., inside the White Plains Performing Arts Center . Contestants will compete in the categories of Swimsuit, Evening Gown, Judges Interview and On-Stage Question. The winners will go on to represent Westchester and Hudson Valley at the Miss New York USA and Miss New York Teen USA competitions at Purchase College Performing Arts Center in January. Tickets, which range in price from $35 to $50, can be purchased here.

5. The Port Chester Council for the Arts presents LawnChair Theater, a Shakespeare production in the park, this weekend with a Mad Men-inspired performance of The Taming of the Shrew. They will perform in Rye Town Park on Aug. 2 and in Crawford Park in the Town of Rye on Aug. 3 and Bedford Village Memorial Park in Bedford on Aug. 4. Suggested donations are $20 general public and $15 for seniors 65 and older and children 12 and under. All performances are at 5:45 PM. Audience members should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

6. God Street Wine John K Band featuring John Kadlecik of Furthur and Dark Star Orchestra will play the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Tickets are $35-$45. Read more here.
