Town Clerk Announces New Evening Hours

In an effort to help residents who are unable to make it to  during regular office hours, Harrison Town Clerk Jackie Greer has announced new evening hours for her office starting Jan. 24.

The office will open from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every fourth Tuesday. The new office hours will take place during Plannig Board meetings, so the municipal building will already be open and there will be no added cost to the town, Greer said in a statement.

Regular office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday from Labor Day to Memorial Day and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

For those unable to reach the clerk's office because of a special need or medical condition, Greer said she will also visit them at home by appointment.
