Town to Talk Parking Tonight
Among tonight's village board meeting agenda items is the issue of parking time limits in Harrison.

Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini will request authorization from the village board tonight to create a two-hour time limit parking between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the west side of Sunnyside Place, from Sunnyside Avenue to the dead end and on the north side of Emerson Place from Sunnyside Place to Danner Avenue.
The meeting is slated for 7:30 p.m. at 1 Heineman Place.
The chief is also looking to the board to authorize a prohibition of parking on the east side of Sunnyside Place and Sunnyside Avenue to Emerson Place.

He says that's because when vehicles are parked on both sides of the roadway in the area of Sunnyside Place, it creates the traffic lane to become narrow which can make it impassible for emergency vehicles.
