1. Photo Gallery on Display at the Harrison Library

The Harrison Council For the Arts will present “”, photographs by Paul Moore at the every day until June 3. The 18 color and black and white photographs feature water as a unifying element in the work.

2. Harrison Lacrosse Starts Post Season Play

A last minute scheduling change will give the Harrison lacrosse team the opportunity to knock the school's biggest rival out of the Section I playoffs. The Huskies will travel to Rye for a 4:30 start.

The playoff game will be our Game of the Week, check back Friday morning for the result.

3. Rain Still Possible, Flood Watch Expires

Yesterday's flood watch has expired, according to the National Weather Service, but some spot flooding is still possible as there is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. 

Temperatures could reach 70 degrees, but there is still a 50 percent chance of more rain, according to the National Weather Service.

4. Student Art to Be Displayed in Washington, D.C.

The art of Harrison's Sofia SanMarco will be displayed in Washington D.C., for the next year, after the senior finished first in an art contest. to see the winning piece.

5. One Year Ago on Harrison Patch

One year ago today Harrison Patch , a 2010 HHS graduate who battled through leukemia to become a varsity athlete, college student and asset to the community.

The new Harrison dog park, organized and designed by Suhre, opened last summer. The official opening ceremony for the park will be held this Saturday at its location in Veterans Park on Crystal Street at 1 p.m.
