Police Make Drug Arrest During Traffic Stop

The following arrest information was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Massachusetts woman faces a misdemeanor drug possession charge after police say she was carrying marijuana and prescription pills while traveling through Harrison.

Police arrested Amber Walling, 21, just after 2 a.m. on June 3. According to police, Walling, who lives in Holoyoak, MA, was the passenger in a vehicle that was weaving in and out of its lane in the area of 650 North St.

While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, police reported smelling marijuana and later finding two bags containing a total of eight grams of marijuana, a glass pipe containing marijuana residue and six capsules of Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, prescription stimulants.

Walling admitted the drugs and pipe belonged to her, police say, and the driver was released with a warning. Walling was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

She was released on $160 cash bail and is due in court June 12.
