Youth Art Award Winners Shine at Town Hall

Four students were selected as winners of this year's Mayor's Choice Award and will have their art displayed at town hall.

Four Harrison students were recognized for their excellent artistic talents this week after being selected winners of the 2012 Mayor's Choice Award.

Ellie Grinnell, an 11th grader at Holy Child School, Stephanie Pon, an 8th grader at LMK Middle School, Saji Kaede, a senior at Keio Academy and Gabriella Triano, a kindergartener at Preston Elementary School, won this year's award. Each will have their paintings displayed at Harrison Town Hall.

"The art work is absolutely gorgeous," said Harrison Mayor/Supervisor Ron Belmont. "When it comes to March, I look so much forward to the art hanging on the walls."
