The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
- John Mueller, 27, of Hauppauge, was arrested May 31 on Route 25A in Smithtown, on a charge of assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon. Police said Mueller smashed a bottle on someone’s head within their home. The victim needed stitches, police said.
- Ricky Grippo, 57, of Lake Grove, was arrested in Hauppauge on a charge of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a felony. Police said Grippo had a forged New York State ticket of insurance
