• Driver seriously injured in Bohemia crash with tractor trailer on Veterans Memorial Highway, police say (newsday.com) — A 41-year-old Hauppauge man was seriously injured Thursday night when his car struck a backing tractor trailer on Veterans Memorial Highway in Bohemia, police said. He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, and Suffolk County police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Fifth Squad detectives.
