  1. A massive fire broke out in a two-story building on Montague Street Friday morning, injuring four firefighters. The blaze started a little after 6 a.m., and no deaths have been reported. The cause of the fire — the second one this season in Brooklyn Heights — is still under investigation. (NYC Patch)
  2. A window washer fell to his death off the 19th story of a building in DUMBO Friday at the corner of York and Jay streets. The cause of the fall is under investigation. (Yahoo News)

  4. A City Council sub-committee approved the massive Williamsburg "River Ring" development project on Thursday. The project, which falls in Councilman Stephen Levin's district, would build two towers–one 49 and the other 64 stories–along one of the last undeveloped portions of the waterfront in the area.
