ATM Skimmer Found At Grimaldi's In Brooklyn Heights, Cops Say

Police are looking for a would-be scammer who doctored an ATM at Grimaldi's.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — Cops are looking for a would-be scammer who doctored an ATM at a Brooklyn Heights pizzeria last month. A customer at Grimaldi's discovered a skimming device on the machine inside the 1 Front St. eatery on June 8, the NYPD said.

No money was reported stolen because of the device, which police removed, the NYPD said. But cops are still on the hunt for the person who put it there.

Police released a photo of a man wanted in connection with the skimmer. He's described as a 35-to-45-year-old white man who was last seen wearing a blue shirt, the NYPD said.
