  1. More news on Olympia: DUMBO's latest super tall condo tower will now have the distinction of housing the highest elevation tennis court in New York City. At 75 feet, it just barely beats a 70-foot high court in Long Island City. (New York Post )
  2. There's no service at the A/C High Street station this weekend, nor is there on the 4/5 platform at Borough Hall. (Brooklyn Heights Blog)
  3. There's a new combined co-working and childcare facility taking shape in Carroll Gardens. Located in a former Kidville space, memberships will open in Spring 2022. For now, the rate is $35/hour. (Brooklyn Bridge Parents)
  4. DUMBO was apparently the sixth most expensive neighborhood in New York City this past year, proceeded by Hudson Square. Residential sales citywide were up 145%, according to the same report. (NYC Patch)
  5. Mayoral hopeful Eric Adams announced on Friday that he's against ending the controversial Gifted and Talented program in New York City Public Schools. Instead, he said, he'd plan on further expanding the existing system, breaking from current Mayor DeBlasio, who has for the most part given him "glowing praise." (NYC Patch)
