- Dr. Stephanie Shaps, DUMBO's first ever pediatrician and mother to two children at PS 8, sadly passed away from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. A memorial honoring her life will be held on December 5th at Tribeca 360. (Brooklyn Bridge Parents)
