Man Held Up Brooklyn Heights Bubble Tea Shop With Glue Gun: NYPD
Gregory Price, 59, was arrested after police said he tried to rob Vivi Bubble Tea using a glue gun with black tape on it Tuesday.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — A man was arrested this week after police caught him trying to rob a Court Street bubble tea shop with a glue gun wrapped in black tape to make it look like a gun, the NYPD said.
A Neighborhood Community Policing officer got a tip on Tuesday at about 12:10 p.m. that a resident spotted Gregory Price, 59, who was wanted for a string of burglaries in the neighborhood, police said.
Four officers followed Price to Vivi Bubble Tea, at 113 Court St., where he put on a black mask, entered the store and handed a 28-year-old worker his backpack, authorities said.

The worker put money in Price's backpack when two officers went inside and spotted the glue gun in his hand. They asked him to drop it several times when Price refused and ran away. He ran into a bathroom of the store, but officers caught up with him.
Price, of Brownsville, was arrested and charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest, police said.
