Model Train Show Is Coming To Hicksville, Proceeds Will Support The Oyster Bay Railroad Museum
Supervisor Saladino and Town Clerk LaMarca shared their support for the event.
HICKSVILLE, NY — A model train show is coming up at the Hicksville Community Center and will benefit the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.
The show will have various operating model train layouts; the event is hosted by Trainville Hobby Depot.
Town Clerk Richard LaMarca shared why he believes this is an important event.

“We’re proud to partner with Trainville Hobby Depot, an organization that not only brings joy and education to residents of all ages but also helps raise funds for meaningful community causes,” LaMarca said. “Events like this celebrate our shared heritage and the important role the railroad played in shaping our Town’s history.”
Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Saladino also shared encouraging words. “The Model Train Show is a wonderful, family-friendly tradition that inspires curiosity and creativity in children while supporting a great local cause," he said. "We encourage residents to stop by, enjoy the displays, and support the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.”

Any charitable donations that are collected during the event will benefit the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.
The event will take place on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hicksville Community Center at 28 West Carl Street in Hicksville.
Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 4–11, and free for children under 4. More information can be found online or by calling 516-433-4444.
