Man Arrested After Displaying Firearm During Disturbance On Nassau Road: Police
A Hicksville man was arrested after displaying a firearm during a disturbance on Saturday morning, police say.
BROOKVILLE, NY — A Hicksville man was arrested after displaying a gun during a motor vehicle disturbance on Saturday morning, Nassau County police said.
According to police, officers responded to Cedar Swamp Road in the vicinity of Country Lane. During the disturbance, a man operating a Mitsubishi displayed a firearm to two people at the scene, and then fled, police said.
A Brookville Police Department officer located the vehicle and the driver, Hasauni Rucker, 32, shortly after, authorities said.

Police said further investigation led to the recovery of a Glock firearm.
Rucker was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of second-degree menacing, and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, police said.

He was slated for arraignment Sunday in Hempstead.
