HICKSVILLE, NY — Voters have spoken, and the incumbent Rose Marie Walker appeared to emerge victorious in the race for County Legislator of District 17.

According to unofficial results by the Nassau County Board of Elections, Rose Marie Walker garnered 10,139 votes or 66.26 percent, compared to 5,156 votes or 33.70 percent garnered by challenger Ryan Johnson.

Rose Marie Walker was the Republican candidate against the Democratic candidate, Ryan J. Johnson.
