3 Injured in Hit-and-Run

Three people were slightly injured early Saturday morning when they were struck by a vehicle in Huntington Station.

Suffolk County police said the three were standing by a parked car on Broadway near Kelsey Avenue about 2:40 a.m. when a vehicle in the opposite lane crossed the road and struck them. The vehicle, possibly a dark-colored minivan, continued east on Broadway toward Park Avenue.

The three people were taken to Huntington Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Suffolk police said the investigation is continuing. No further details were immediately available.
