Blood Drive In Centerport To Offer Donors Free Mets Tickets

A blood emergency has been declared in the Long Island region this summer.

Donors will receive free Mets tickets at a blood drive in Centerport on Thursday, July 12. Officials hope the tickets serve as an incentive to donate following the declaration of a blood emergency in the Long Island region this summer.

The drive will be held at the Centerport Fire Department, located at 9 Park Circle, from 1 to 7 p.m. It is being hosted by Suffolk County Legislator William R. Spencer, M.D.

In addition to helping out the blood supply shortage on Long Island, each donor will receive an electronic voucher which can be redeemed online for a pair of tickets to a New York Mets game.
