Cold Spring Harbor 2024-25 School Budget Passes

COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Cold Spring Harbor School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2024-25 school budget by a margin of 657 yes votes to 186 no votes.
The district's budget is $80,699,285, up 4.61 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $70,685,552, up 1.62 percent.
Two seats for the Cold Spring Harbor Board of Education were open. Incumbent Heather Morante Young (555 votes) and challenger Mark Attalienti (484 votes) defeated challenger Scott Kaufman (414 votes).
