The pool area will be limited to just 150 people with no more than 70 people in the water, properly socially distanced, at any one time.
Only town residents and members of the Half Hollow Hills, Commack and Cold Spring Harbor School Districts may register for a time slot when they will be allowed into the pool, to ensure social distancing, town officials said.
An ID will be required when entering the pool to prove residency. Residents will use the Rectrac online scheduling program to reserve family's swim sessions. Go to https://www.tohparks.net, at the top, go to the 'POOL ADMISSION' tab, and select a date. For those who have trouble using Rectrac online program, phone assistance will be available by calling the Dix Hills Park staff at (631) 462-5883.
