Driver Hospitalized After Pickup Truck Strikes Tree In Greenlawn

A driver was hospitalized after a pickup truck struck a tree in Greenlawn on Friday, Dec. 15.

According to fire officials, the single-vehicle crash occurred on Cuba Hill Road, west of Elwood Road, during the daytime.

The Greenlawn Fire Department responded to the scene, stabilized the driver and took him or her to Huntington Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Units were under the direction of second assistant chief Santomauro and third assistant chief Miller .
