The entrance to Meehan's of Huntington is getting a makeover.
Co-owner Michael Meehan, who was working on the changeover Monday, said he hopes the renovations will be complete in about two weeks.
The rebuilt front section creates an space behind the glass doors that slide out of a wall and the front door has been relocated.
The upgrade is one of several going on in the same block of New York Avenue.
Across the street, Swallow restaurant is expanding, and the Paramount is getting a paint job.
