A two-story house caught fire Wednesday night on Broadway near Lantern Street.
A relative said about five people were in the house but all escaped injury. The fire broke out shortly after 10 p.m.
Firefighters from the Greenlawn Fire Department, with an assist from Dix Hills, put out the blaze.
