Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals From The Home Depot Multiple Times
ALSO: Wallet stolen from gym locker; and a person tried to steal a watch off someone's arm, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from April 21 through April 27.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- April 24: Barry Nelson, 68, of Brentwood, stole several items from The Home Depot in Commack between Oct. 12 and Dec. 7, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny: property value exceeds $3,000, police said.
Incidents
- April 26: Grand larceny (fourth-degree: credit card) was reported on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at 11:30 a.m. Someone went into a locked locker at LA Fitness and stole a wallet containing credit cards, cash and identification cards, police said. The person tried to use one of the credit cards later that day, but the purchase did not go through, police said.
- April 22: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Academy Place in Huntington Station at 12:20 p.m. A person was walking home when they were approached by someone who asked them for money, police said. The person then tried to take the watch off the pedestrian's arm, but they were unsuccessful, and they immediately ran off, police said.
