Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Accused Of Attacking 2 Officers

ALSO: Scammer steals woman's identity and transfers money from her account; tools stolen from car; and more, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from May 12 through May 18.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • May 12: Alexis Delk, 31, of Elwood, was involved in a leaving the scene of an incident report when she was accused of punching one police officer and elbowing a second officer on May 12, police said. She was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault: with intent to cause physical injury to officer/fireman/EMT/nurse/crossing guard, police said.

Incidents

  • May 17: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on 11th Avenue in Huntington Station at 1:58 a.m. Someone entered a parked 2010 Toyota in a driveway and stole tools, police said.
  • May 15: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Harriet Lane in Huntington at 12:45 p.m. Someone stole a woman's identity and used her personal information to access her investment accounts, police said. The scammer transferred a large sum of money into an unknown account, police said.
  • May 13: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road at 1:37 p.m. A woman stole assorted sunglasses from Macy's at Walt Whitman Mall, police said.
