Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Sprays Dog Repellant At Employee During Robbery
ALSO: Person stabbed in Huntington Station; and Huntington Station resident loses money in phishing email scam, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Oct. 21 through Oct. 27.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Oct. 24: Shakira Perry, 26, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, stole five handbags from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Mall at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 24, police said. As Perry was leaving the store, an employee approached her, police said. Perry sprayed the employee with dog repellant and displayed brass knuckles, police said. vShe was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery: forcible theft armed with deadly weapon, third-degree robbery, fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon: firearm/weapon, third-degree grand larceny: property value exceeds $3,000, and unlawful possession of noxious matter.

- Oct. 26: Assault (second-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 2:31 a.m. Someone was stabbed in a parking lot outside 1789 New York Ave., Huntington
Station, police said. The person who was stabbed suffered injuries that are not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital, police said. - Oct. 24: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Frederick Street in Huntington Station noon. Someone responded to a phishing email and clicked the link, police said. Money was stolen from their account, police said.
- Oct. 21: Identity theft (second-degree) was reported on Park Avenue in Huntington at 7:09 p.m. Someone reported on behalf of a deceased family member that money was taken out of their account without approval, police said.
