Huntington School District Offers Online Safety Tips for Kids
Guidelines for parents to help children understand the importance of privacy settings, limiting the information they share and more.

Officials at Huntington School District are making it a little easier for parents to help keep their kids safe when it comes to social media.
With so many students spending time online, parents would do well to offer safety guidelines when it comes to sharing information, photos, videos and more.
The district recommends that parents explain the consequences of online actions, why it’s important to limit the information they share, the value in using good manners, and the importance of maintaining privacy settings.
