Huntington Station Woman Drove With 89 License Suspensions: PD

She was arrested Wednesday evening in Huntington on a similar offense.

A Huntington Station woman whose license has been suspended 89 times was arrested Wednesday for driving with a suspended and revoked driver's license, police say.

According to authorities, Dawn Taddeo was driving a 1996 Buick Regal on Pulaski Road in Huntington without a registration sticker on her windshield. at 6:29 p.m. Police initiated a traffic stop and observed a check on Taddeo's driver's license that shows it had been suspended 89 times, police say.

Taddeo's vehicle was also unregistered and was being operated with "switched" license plates, police say.

It was also determined that Taddeo’s vehicle was unregistered and was being operated with improper or “switched” license plates.

Taddeo was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She was additionally issued summonses for vehicle and traffic law violations.

The vehicle was impounded.

Taddeo is being held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning at First District Court in Central Islip.
