Lucky Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain In Huntington

With help from the local fire department, the ducklings were brought to a location to be reunited with their mother.

Four lucky ducks were rescued from the bottom of a storm drain in Huntington on Saturday morning.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to Mill Dam Park near the boat ramp to find four ducklings that fell into the drain at 11:03 a.m.

Firefighters removed the cover and went into the drain to rescue the ducklings.

The ducklings were then brought to a location to be reunited with their mother.

The incident was under the command of Chief Conroy, Assistant Chief Keane and Assistant Chief Schwier.
