'Make America Rock Again' Tour In Huntington

Creed frontman Scott Stapp is headlining the tour. But the question is, does President Donald Trump approve of the tour name?

Attention rock music and political slogan lovers, the "Make America Rock Again" tour, which features Grammy award-winning artists, is coming to Huntington in August.

Scott Stapp, the lead singer of Creed, and his full band will perform Creed hits. Rock groups like Drowning Pool, Sick Puppies and Adelitas Way are also set to perform.

“I’m excited to headline MAKE AMERICA ROCK AGAIN," Stapp said in a press release. "We've got a great line-up that I'm looking forward to touring with. It's going to be a great summer of rock and roll for the bands and the fans.”

Together, these artists all share two Grammy wins, six Grammy nominations, 25 hit songs that made the Top 10 charts, seven No. 1 hits and more than 30 million albums sold.

“Drowning Pool and Stapp were labelmates early in our careers, and it will be great to finally tour with him, our friends in Sick Puppies and Trapt, and our new friends in Adelitas Way," Drowning Pool said in a statement. "Together, we will... (wait for it)... (keep waiting)... MAKE AMERICA ROCK AGAIN! Can't wait to see everyone on the road.”

The event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Paramount, located at 370 New York Ave.
