Man Arrested In Connection With Human Remains Found In Suitcase On LI: SCPD
BREAKING: The man was arrested at Penn Station on Friday and was charged with concealment of a human corpse, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A man was arrested Friday in connection with the human remains found in a suitcase in Huntington earlier in the week, Suffolk police said.
Ronald Schroeder, 41, of Huntington, was arrested at Penn Station, located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza in New York City, at 1:55 p.m. following an investigation by Suffolk County Homicide Squad detectives and MTA Police, police said.
The body of Seikeya Jones, 31, who is without a known address, was found in a suitcase in Huntington on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.

Jones's cause of death is being determined by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said.
Schroeder was charged with concealment of a human corpse. He was also charged with an active bench warrant. In addition, MTA Police charged him with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District
Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
