Man Sought For Attempted Grand Larceny In Huntington Station: PD

He tried to steal lottery tickets, cash and beverages, but fled when he was confronted, police say.

Police are looking to identify the man who tried to steal items from a Huntington Station convenience store in September.

According to authorities, the man entered 7-Eleven, located at 901 E. Jericho Turnpike, and grabbed lottery tickets, cash and beverages on Friday, Sept. 15 at 10:45 p.m. Police say the man dropped the proceeds when he was confronted and fled the scene in a white sedan, possibly a Honda.

The man, who is wanted for attempted grand larceny, was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, muscular, bald with a short beard and having a tattoo on his left shoulder.
