A memorial service is scheduled Wednesday for James Harry Meyn, a former Huntington resident who died last week.
Meyn, 47, was born in Huntington in 1966. He moved to Lovington, N.M. in 1975.
He worked in the oilfields for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Bob. He is survived by his daughter, MaryAnn Meyn; two granddaughters, Hayden and Aubrey Meyn of Seymour, Mo.; son, Kane Meyn of Luther, Okla., grandson, Syion Martinez of Carlsbad; three sisters, Mary Kennemer and Eileen Meyn of Carlsbad, N.M., and Kathleen and husband Lonnie Voyles of Lovington, N.M.; brother, Michael Meyn of Portland, Maine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
