Memorial Weekend Carnival Coming To Huntington: Info

The carnival will feature rides, games, music, and international foods. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Huntington YMCA.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The annual Memorial Weekend Carnival at the Huntington YMCA is scheduled for Friday to Monday, Newton Shows announced.

Every year, the Memorial Weekend Carnival helps raise money to support the community.

"Proceeds from this holiday weekend event ensures that everyone — regardless of age, income level, or background — has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive with Huntington YMCA’s programs and support services," said Nicole Dinolfo, executive director of the Huntington YMCA, in a news release.

Michael Newton, president of Newton Shows, said he is thrilled to continue the partnership with the Huntington YMCA.

"It’s a great way for families to enjoy a fun-filled weekend while supporting a good cause," Newton said.

The schedule is:

  • Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Monday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Memorial Weekend Carnival will feature rides for the entire family. The carnival will also offer games and international foods.

On Friday, the weekend kicks off with a performance by Southern Fried Freaks from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a performance by Totally Taylor: A Taylor Swift Tribute Act at 2 p.m., followed by a 45-minute meet and greet, and later that evening, Eye Candy will perform from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday, School of Rock will take the stage from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by the Charlie Kaye Band from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additionally, Children's Magic/Illusion Shows will be held throughout the afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday. The weekend wraps up on Monday with Karaoke from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The carnival will be held at the Huntington YMCA, at 60 Main St., Huntington.

Parking and admission are free. Advance tickets, including pay-one-price bracelets, can be purchased on the Newton Shows website or YMCA Long Island website.
