Minivan, Pickup Collide on Park Ave.

A minivan and a pickup truck were involved in a collision in Park Ave. in front of the Huntington Jewish Center just prior to 5:30 p.m. Friday.

There is no word yet if there were any serious injuries.

The impact was enough to knock the front driver-side wheel completely off the truck and the rear axle was knocked out of place. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles.

The accident closed the busy street for less than 15 minutes during rush hour, but it is reopened and traffic is flowing through the location.
