Kevin Klimas of New Hyde Park was recognized recently for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
Sen. Jack Martins, along with Town of North Hempstead Councilman Angelo Ferrara, attended the Court of Honor to personally congratulate Kevin, a member of Boy Scout Troop 298, on earning scouting’s highest honor.
“Only a select few become Eagle Scouts because it requires years of dedication, commitment, and service,” Martins said.
“Through countless hours of serving the community, developing his skills, and sheer hard work, Kevin has earned a place among Scouting’s elite,” Martins added. “The entire community is very proud of Kevin and we congratulate him on earning this prestigious honor.”
