Overnight Closures For Northern State Parkway In Town Of Huntington
The parkway will be closed overnight for roughly three weeks because of a pavement resurfacing project.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — Overnight road closures are looming for the westbound Northern State Parkway in the Town of Huntington, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
The parkway is subject to closures between Exit 42 (State Route 231/Deer Park Road) and Exit 40 (State Route 110) in the township starting Wednesday. The closures, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night, are expected to last three weeks, weather permitting, because of a pavement resurfacing project.
Drivers will be detoured onto southbound Route 231 to the westbound Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) to Exit 49 for northbound Route 110 for access to return to the Northern Parkway.
