Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Huntington
The person killed was identified as a 55-year-old Huntington resident.

A man was fatally struck by a car while crossing a street in Huntington on Wednesday night, police say.
According to authorities, Miguel Jiminez-Villa, 55, of Huntington, was walking across the roadway in front of 241 New York Ave. when he was struck by a 2009 Nissan sedan that was traveling southbound at 11:40 p.m.
Jiminez-Villa was taken by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Nissan, 26-year-old Lynbrook resident Andrew Skei, was no injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing.
