Plainview Families Receive Holiday Cheer
District faculty helps gather donations for families in need

Submitted by Plainview-Old Bethpage School District
Members of the Plainview-Old Bethpage (POB) School District’s John F. Kennedy High School’s guidance department recently identified families in need of assistance this holiday season to organize donations from the Episcopal Church of St. Margaret’s outreach committee. Eleven POB families received basic needs such as food and clothing in addition to thousands of dollars in gifts to ensure the families have a great holiday. This is the fourth year the district has partnered with St. Margaret’s outreach committee led by parishioners Daniel and Debbie McGee, and is proud to take part in an initiative that spreads holiday cheer to the POB community.
