Police Log: Burglary Arrest, Gas Station Break-In Attempt
Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.
Wednesday, Jan. 24
At 4:25 p.m., police reported a burglary in which an unknown person or persons stole jewelry from a home on Polly Place in Huntington.

At 6:04 p.m., Tracy Blue, 48, of Northport, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary after police say she stole merchandise from Lord & Taylor in the Walt Whitman Mall. Police say she was notified on Friday, Jan. 5 of a notice that revoked her privilege to enter the department store.

At 2:25 a.m., police reported a burglary in which a person or persons kicked in the bathroom door and damaged the wall in at attempt to gain entry into Gulf Gas Station, located on Walt Whitman Road in West Hills.
