Police Release Photos of Gunman Wanted in Robbery

Police say he robbed a person at gunpoint inside a Long Island apartment building earlier this month. See more photos inside.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a man inside a Long Island apartment building earlier this month.

According to police, a man was approached in the hallway of an apartment building located at 311 New York Ave. in Huntington on Oct. 15 at about 3:10 p.m. by a man displaying a black handgun.

The man, pictured above and below, stole cash and an iPhone 8, police say. The robber was described as white, in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot-9 with a thin build and facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
