The man robbed a woman and assaulted a good Samaritan trying to intervene in Huntington earlier this year, police say.

Police are still looking to identify the man who robbed a woman and assaulted a good Samaritan trying to intervene in Huntington earlier this year.
According to authorities, a woman was walking to her car in the Rite Aid parking lot, located at 391 West Main St., when a man pushed her to the ground and took her purse and keys at 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.
A woman who witnessed the incident tried to stop the robbery, but the man punched her in the chest, knocking her to the ground.

The man fled the scene eastbound on West Main Street.
Police described the man as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, with balding brown hair and a round, scruffy face. He was wearing a dark gray NorthFace jacket with black sleeves.
