Search Warrant Leads To Drug Arrests, Animals Seized In Huntington Station

Police and Gang Unit officers executed the warrant last week.

Two residents were arrested for drug possession and several animals were removed from a Huntington Station home after officers executed a search warrant last week.

Police and Gang Unit officers executed the warrant at a home on the 100-block of Iceland Drive on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 6 a.m.

A 30-year-old resident was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. A 59-year-old resident was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

The Town of Huntington Animal Control and Code Enforcement also responded to the home. Police say animal control removed multiple cats and dogs.
