'Dream Come True': The Suds Boss Of LI Celebrates 5 Years

HUNTINGTON, NY — The Suds Boss, a Huntington-based mobile vehicle detailing service, has reached its five-year anniversary.

Thomas Pinto, owner of the service, travels Long Island to offer interior and exterior detailing; paint enhancers and corrections; ceramic coatings; and interior steam cleanings.

"It feels amazing like a dream come true to officially hit the five years in-business mark," Pinto told Patch. "I knew we would achieve this milestone, I just can’t believe how quick it’s come."

For Pinto, the most rewarding part of being in business for half a decade has been "meeting so many new people" and building relationships with those customers.

"We are truly grateful for each customer and their loyalty over the years, as well as the love the continued support," Pinto said.

The only challenge The Suds Boss has faced is "harsh winters," Pinto said.

Pinto worked in real estate and was a part-time bus driver before the coronavirus lockdown. When the bus company he worked for shut down, and Pinto realized he was not enjoying real estate as much as he thought he would, he shifted his full attention to detailing vehicles.
